Bring the kids and the whole family over to learn, create, and celebrate vegan living! Take a break, take a breath, and reconnect. The Family Room is a cozy, kid-friendly space designed for play, creativity, wiggles, and calm moments throughout the day. Families are invited to drop in, explore simple activities together, and recharge before heading back out to the festival.

*Not a drop-off center. A parent/guardian must accompany children under the age of 16.

Schedule

• ALL DAY - Vegfest Fruit & Veggie Scavenger Hunt (Grab & Go): Pick up your scavenger card in the Family Room and head out on a fun festival adventure! Forage for hidden photos of fruits and vegetables throughout the exhibit halls and hallways, then return with your completed card to collect a fun prize! 
• ALL DAY - Vegfest Arts & Crafts: Color & create with a selection of arts & crafts supplies and activity sheets for a variety of age ranges.
• 1:00PM & 3:00PM - Animal Yoga: Breathe in like a panda, stretch tall like a giraffe, and curl up like a sleepy cat. Animal Yoga invites children to move, imagine, and relax through playful poses inspired by their favorite animals. A fun and calming way to build body awareness, focus, and a little bit of inner peace.
• 1:30PM & 3:30PM - Vegfest Story Time: Cozy up for stories about animals, vegetables, and kind choices. This cozy story time invites little ones to listen, imagine, and connect through gentle, heartwarming tales.
• 2:00PM & 4:00PM - Veggie Bingo: Get ready to play! Veggie Bingo is a fun, interactive game that people of all ages can play for prizes. A lively activity full of excitement, connection, and a little friendly competition.
