New England VegFest
Founded in 2010, the New England VegFest (NEVF) is an amazing day that brings together veg-friendly vendors, non-profits, presenters, and people interested in plant-based living to celebrate vegan food and causes. Held in Worcester, Massachusetts, NEVF is one of the oldest and largest vegan food festivals in the country, regularly attracting more than 7,000 attendees.
The 2026 VegFest will take place on Sunday, April 26.
NEVF strives to provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can learn about plant-based living. We also seek to create a place where people who are passionate about vegan living and animal advocacy can come together and spend time with others.
NEVF Zero Waste Goals
VegFest is striving to make the 2025 NEVF as zero waste as possible, and we hope all participants will join us. The zero waste approach minimizes the amount of waste going into landfills by recycling, reusing, and composting as much waste as possible.
Our zero waste efforts include working with a compost company to help attendees properly dispose of compost and recyclables at the event, requiring vendors to use BPI-certified compostable materials for serving food, reducing our use of paper products, offering eco-friendly activities, and more.
